Customer called us for service Dacor range. He was trying to replace light bulb inside the oven, and overtwist it and make a short. He saw lots of sparkles after the short. We removed the light bulb cover glass and inspected the light bulb housing. Housing was OK. We disassembled cooktop portion of the range, removed 4 burners and disconnected the wiring. After this, we had a access to all components which are responsible for oven light. We test wiring from the control board to light bulb housing, wiring was ok. We removed control bard and notice bad traces on PVC board. We replaced old board with a new one. We educated a customer next time to turn off appliances from power source then replacing any components. I this case you are secured from an accident and additional not necessary spendings.
