A customer had the warm freezer, ice buildup in the freezer and also ice buildup in the fridge. After diagnostic, we find several issues. Drain for refrigerator side was clogged, condensation was overflowing drip pan and cause the leak. Also defrost cycle for freezer side was faulty. We offered a solution to the customer and after permission started the job. We removed shelving and back panel. with steamer clean clogged drain. With a steamer, we also remove all ice buildup from the freezer and evaporator coil. We replace defrost thermostat and heating element. We run system, conduct system diagnostics and force defrost cycle manually. System supposes to work well.
