Customer complained about high temperature in Viking DFBB363 model refrigerator. We removed the freezer door, icemaker and back panel to have access to internal parts in the freezer. Evaporator coil was clogged with snow buildup which was blocking the air flow through the evaporator coil. After some testing, we find out that defrost cycle was malfunctioning. We decided to replace bad high voltage board and defrost thermostat. Using the steamer we melted down all snow buildup, clean air channels, and frozen drain. We replaced defrost thermostat which is mounted on the evaporator coil. After we replaced high voltage board on the top of the refrigerator. We forced defrost cycle from the control panel and test it.
