Customer experienced multiple times in the past ice buildup on the button of the freezer. he used other companies who effortlessly try to clean ice buildup, but a problem comes back later. Viking has some design flow with this top/bottom models. during defrost cycle heating element is not able to generate enough heat to remove all frost from coil and drip pan. Viking created the special kit for those cases.
We remover ice buildup from the bottom, defrost evaporator coil and defrost air channels. After we install defrost enhancement kit. Put back panel and icemaker back. After this improvement customer not supposed to experience the same issue in the future.
