A customer has side by side Sub Zero 690 refrigerator which was not cooling on the refrigerator side and also was leaking from the top. After measuring the pressure inside the sealed system we find freon leak on the evaporator coil and inefficient compressor. There was also plastic tubing on the top of the fridge with multiple cracks on it. We offered full sealed system rebuild for the refrigerator side. First, we cut old evaporator coil and old compressor and remove them. After we run new plastic tubing from inlet water valve to icemaker. We installed the new compressor, new evaporator coil, new dryer filter and weld old connections. With the help of our vacuum pump, we created a vacuum and remove all air from the system. We recharge the system with the right amount of refrigerant specified on the label. We aloud system work for 15 minutes and test the pressure. We install all panels and drawers back.
