A customer has Sub Zero 642 built-in unit with the very hot door frame and an inconsistent temperature inside the unit. Temperature sometimes went up 10-20 degree above the setting on the panel. I removed the top grille and noticed that condenser fan was not working. Fan suppose to create airflow through condenser coil and cooldown the sealed system. But, because of the bad fan motor sealed system was not receiving proper cooling and as the result, we had system overheating. I removed the old fan motor, reinstall fan blades to the new motor, and installed the new fan. I also washed condenser coil with steam as part of maintenance. New fan motor was running and the system started working at the proper temperature.
