A customer has Thermador range PGR304 with no ignition on the cooktop part. She had couple other companies who tried to repair this appliance but failed. Our tech had troubleshot the unit and determined that there was bad spark module, 2 potentiometers, and bad electrodes. We had some problems to remove the top burners because of Thermador bad burner design. Finally, we managed to remove the top burner nuts and had access to internal parts to replace. We replaced spark module and install enhancement ignition unit with individual spark modules for each burner. Also, we installed new potentiometers for left burners for extra low functionality. Unfortunately, Thermador does not supply electrodes for old units, but we manage to find better substitution from another brand, which from our experience work very solid. After we put all components back, test unit and gave some recommendations to a client how to use the appliance in the proper way.
